Mossbrae falls is a unique waterfall. It's only about 50ft height, but more than 150ft wide. The water cascades down the moss-cover canyon wall beautifully. The trail to this fall is about 1mile long and follow the railroad along the upper Sacramento river creating a wonderful scene. This waterfall is good to visit from March-August. This water fall is wide. It was raining so I couldn't taken any panoramic composite of the fall. I will definitely will come back to this place again.
Directions: Take Hwy #5 to Dunsmuir, 52 miles north of Redding. Take Dunsmuir/Siskiyou exit. Drive south on Dunsmuir Ave. for 0.7 miles. Take a sharp right on Scarlett Way (Shasta Retreat). Cross the bridge and railroad tracks, and park. The trail heads upstream along the tracks
Wow! Just superb I like it a lot.

Being from northern California myself I almost don't recognize this, it's so surreal and beautiful (although most of northern CA is!), a wonderful shot again!
