Wildflowers at Amboy Crater
Posted by Hoàng Sơn (Santa Ana, United States) on 28 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural.
Amboy Crater, used to be a volcano, is filled with wildflowers this spring (Spring 08). We headed out there as soon as we heard the wildflowers report in Desertusa.com . What a sight.
We saw quite a few photographer in the area. This year gives more rain than the last two years. So we are all hoping for a good season. Let's start with Amboy. We're heading out to other places soon. If you are in California, check out these website for wildflowers report. They're a big help.

"And the spring is in the air, pretty flowers every where, think of me and I'll be there"
The yellow flowers in the photo are: Desert Sunflowers. And the pinkish one is Sand Verbena.
