A start up Spring

Finally, Spring is here. We were heading out and hoping for a great wildflowers season since we've received more ran than the last two years. First of all, we aimed for Amboy crater near 29 Palms.
Before reaching Amboy Crater, from 29 Palms along Amboy road there are a lot of flowers this spring. Arizona lupines are every where along with some other varieties of poppies. The storm was approaching and the wind was too much for a sharp shot. I was trying my best to capture the image. I have another version of the photo where I was using GND filter to balance the exposure of the sky with the ground but I didn't like how it turn out.
